Plantation Drive - "Save Nature Save Humanity"

Due to recent serious crisis before humanity caused by COVID 19 pandemic, conserving environment seems to have taken a backseat. But we must not allow this. It must be kept in mind that most of the crisis humans face today is because of our ruthless & cynical approach towards nature and overexploitation of natural resources including other living species. In our Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, most of the green cover has diminished due to unsolicited and illegal timber smuggling, cutting of trees due to encroachments and road construction projects. This has threatened not only fauna and flora of the region but has also led to increase in air pollution.
In order to minimize ill-effects of deforestation and invoke a sense of belonging to the environment among people, We the Human, a Public Charitable Trust from J&K organises a plantation drive every year. For year 2020, our aim is to plant 2000 plus trees in the region and already hundreds of saplings trees are either planted or distributed among people in various parts of Jammu, Samba and Doda. These include various species of ornamental plants, fruit bearing and traditional trees of the UT.
These efforts are meant to minimize losses caused to environment due to human selfishness, disregard for other living species and an unsustainable development. We also aim to make our region clean and green so that people and the future generations breathe in fresh air and enjoy bounties of nature like we once used to. We also urge you to be part of our mission for a better present and a better tomorrow. Friends, please be part of our Plantation Drive - "Save Nature Save Humanity" by making donations in cash or donating plants and gardening tools.
With regards
Yours Sincerely
